Wednesday, got out of work at around 3:30. Shoulda been 3, but no one told my department that we were allowed to leave at 3, not to mention I got stuck on a call at 2:45 for 45 minutes.
Turkey Day was decent, albeit occasionally frustrating. Dealing with the fam, playing Grocery Gopher, the usual stuff. Thankfully, we only actually cooked one turkey (though we had three), green beans, green bean casserole, onion casserole, mashed potatoes, corn, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, Mom's awesome gravy - with and without mushrooms, it was decent.
Friday I took Mom out for a bit to get cat food, some needed hardware for Christmas Decorating, went to lunch at Lone Star and went to Shop Rite for a ham.
Saturday... I think I vegged all of Saturday. Hung out with ~M~ on WoW for a good 12 hours (though we both took breaks), we chatted the whole time, it was fun.
Sunday, went to church, cleaned my room just a little. The floor around my desk is clear AND vacuumed again, and I boxed up a good portion of my Dragon mags and D&D/Roleplaying books (except for a few I'd never read). Next step is to clear out the pile of assorted full plastic bags from the retaining wall of computers next to my dresser.
Things I learned from this weekend:
Miracle on 34th Street (the original b&w version) makes me cry.
Dragon Mags and D&D/Roleplaying books stuffed into an empty paper case (the kind that holds ten reams, sunfirejade should remember those!) weigh close to 60 pounds.
