Work recap: I have become a travelling trainer-in-training for a company that my company's parent company purchased in August. Their software has far-reaching implications for document management in CPA firms, and with the sudden umbrella they found themselves under, they also gained many new prospects to disseminate it. And since they didn't have the manpower, they asked other offices for volunteers.
So I volunteered and have been to my own training in North Jersey, then spent seven days in Ohio at my first client's office. I was with a mentor, of course, but did most of the training for two whole days.
Family recap: Usual.
Self recap: Somewhat bolstered by my imagined successes as a trainer for that company, I go back this week to "the regular office" and deal with, not only the office falling apart from a desktop support standpoint, but also from all the things that the rest of my department should know but have passed to my attention.
Summary: I don't want to go to work tomorrow.
